Does Les really believe that

he and Crowton are doing a good job?
This was on another post -
He has said things like that repeatedly over the years. Maybe he just doesn't see that things are in the ditch. Kinda like Reddick saying "if it ain't broke then don't fix it".
Les says that his performance is reviewed along with everyone else's after each game. Who in that review is going to tell Les that he is doing a piss poor job overall? No one I bet. The only one that is going to make a comment like that is his boss, not someone who is below him. Since he doesn't read books, he probably doesn't read newspapers, magazines, or the Rant either. So who is telling the emperor that he doesn't have any clothes on?
Les does seem to fix things when they crop up one at a time, but doesn't seem to grasp the whole of a situation that is screwed up. He just doesn't seem to be able to see the forest for the trees. And nobody in his inner circle is pointing that out to him. If he does get fired he probably won't even realize why.
thoughts?

That was the question posed to Les a couple of weeks ago at Walkons to which he said that he thought that Crowton was doing a great job and had complete confidence in him handling that duty with his other duties.

and his boss(Alleva) comes from a school that puts footbal last. so doubt he's laying down the law.

Look what he did with the defensive coaches last year. He will do it the right way but I have been hearing Miles and Crowton are not on good terms. Trust me, he knows Crowton is not doing a good job and it will be corrected but he doesn't have to rag on the guy to appease rantards like yourself. If you haven't noticed, you can't take one word out of his mouth seriously. I have no clue why everyone is up in arms regarding the Ford redshirt, its his normal coach talk.

Actually, Alleva played football and was a grad assistant at one time. Not to mention that he was at DUKE before LSU, do you think it would have been wise for him to stress football over basketball? You seriously don't think he understands that football is LSU sports?

nhsj012 - man you can tell you are only 21 years old.
How can you seriously call me a rantard. Nowhere did I state that he should call out Crowton. That was a quote from someone else's post on another thread. If Les just doesn't tell out right lies, then you have to take it that he believes what he is saying...and that was what I was addressing. It's a whole lot better to say no comment than to say an untruth or sound like an imbecile. Everyone would understand witholding information, but not telling a lie.

We know how Les rolls. He's probably helping Crouton pad his fall with some friendly explanatory phone calls to his buddies.
When Crouton has a plan, Les will let him announce it. Same show we saw last year.
