Blue ain't lacking. He has he highest YPC on the team by far. He doesn't go down easy, and he has breakaway speed.

Comparisons to NFL Players:
Blue: Curtis Martin
Ford: Fred Jackson
Hilliard: Jerome Bettis
Ware: Mike Alstott

With the playing time among the backs divided up as we have seen recently, could some of the change be that Ware is being used as the starter to dole out initial punishment? Then we bring on the speed and finally follow up with punishment and speed with the likes of Hilliard.

Ware is twice as fast as Alstott and is 100x the athlete.

You love to subtly knock down Ware when comparing all our backs. I have seen you do this a few times.

Hilliard reminds me more of Rodney Hampton, and not just because he wears #27.

We're adding more Beasts to our backfield this year with Hill and Bourque. Hill compares to a young Michael Turner, and Bourque is the next Shady McCoy.

We STAAAAACKED.

Oh and these are the worst comparisons I have ever seen. That is just embarrassing you think those are accurate. I am done with the Rant for the day pretty early today I guess

Not saying he's lacking, but seems most of his long runs happen late, when the other team's have quit. And have to disagree on speed. Ford is our only back that can consistently beat a team to the edge.

I think Ware's job is to get 3-4 ypc and injure people in the process. He hits the LB's because it converts them into vags by the second half. Yards are cool and all, but running over DTs and LBs is much more awesomer.

this is so stupid.

yea, it so cool to run up your OLs back and then into the arms of a defender. Getting tackled is always awesome for an offensive player

If it wasn't behind in some aspect then he would clearly be ahead of everyone.

I've never seen Blue try to catch a pass, maybe he has stone hands? From what I've seen he is our most complete back. Doesn't go down as easy as Ford, excellent speed, great teammate, okay blocker. Hell, I hope he stays 4 years here injury free. He's a damn good one. We're lucky to be so deep and so good at RB.

RE: Blue, I see his role is like that of a closer.

You have your starters throwing 88-91 mph and then when the players are used to it and a little fatigued at the end of the game you bring in Rick frick'n Greene to throw high 90s past them.

Blue is that faster guy (at least faster than Ware and Hilliard) through the hole when the defense is gassed.

See the A&M game last year.

That was 25lbs ago. He is not the same back. I agree his role is to wear out the defense, but I still think we start seeing KH27 more and more in the first half. He is just the all around back.

As shown in the UGA game, ANY play is possible when KH is in. Dive, Option, Read Option, dump pass, too much to keep off the field.

Blue has busted off 48 yd TD, 45 yd TD, and a 60 yarder against Ole Miss. He is faster than Ford.
Wait, are you really using those runs to support this?

Hilliard will break out against bama but ware will still be the starter.

Hilliard has outplayed all of the RB's but still isn't the starter.

What does he have to do?

How many 40 yard TDs does Ford have? He's great at getting outside, then he gets run down and pushed out of bounds EVERY TIME. I love Ford, and I'm glad he's on the squad. I just think Blue's a smidge quicker.

he's a true freshman. he's played about as huge of a role in the 2nd half of this year on this loaded and talented team as I think any of us could expect. maybe he still needs to work on blocking or blitz pickup or something to be an every-down back.

I agree he should start, though.

Ware will win a LOT of games for the Tigers before he's done. Some of you guys need to chill on the premature obits. Spencer is NAILS.
