quote:i'd take 8-4 with Herman as long as we look productive before I took 9-3 with Les again looking the same
So when UGA is 8-4 next year will we be saying the same thing

And Herman is not UGA's top candidate, according to many sources.

I think UGA will be on the cusp of an SEC east champ birth and LSU will be 9-3 again. but you know, bama is bama, we should just accept it.

Nope. Georgia has needed to let Richt go far longer. Man has not even made a national title game and is on a much easier side of the conference. Plus who says that Herman is there by time we play them again. I am sure that is not his dream school just the next stepping stone until he gets to where he wants to go.

Herman probably feels less terrified of the Bulldog fan base.
LSU is about the same now as when Penn State was trying to put Joe Pa's statue back up.

Rumor also said Fisher may be headed to LSU...

I would not have wanted to fire CLM for a one year wonder with zero recruiting ties to Louisiana.
While Les might have a long term vote of confidence, he won't be allowed to replicate past failures without consequences.

don't know how the hire will turn out but i'm envious that their administration isn't amateur hour and kept everything close to the vest until it was time to fire and hire.
very envious of their top brass being professionals and not embarrassing their respective school

This is the dumbest thing I've ever read.

This guy should be banned or suspended. All he does is ravage LSU and its fans in every thread.

Herman walked in a good situation. I wouldn't be surprised if he won the East and have a better 1st year than McElwain.

Love Herman. Great move for UGA.

Richt has been there since 2001
not championships
and had a losing season a few years ago
Lets not pretend UGA is way out ahead in this.

He'll be there until Texas comes calling in a couple of years. IF, he's successful at Georgia.
No Thanks.

Nope.
Last Houston coach has turned out pretty average.

I would have loved a pissing contest between us to over pay him while Fisher inked his raise at fsu
