Does Coach Freeman Prefer the 4-3 or the 3-4 as a Base Defense?

That actually works really well with the type of personnel that we have in the back end. fricking Ika should have hung around, but Pelini ruined that shite for us.

Not tied to any scheme. He has ran multiple base defenses in his career even back to his Purdue days. I think the 3-3-5 scheme base was to match all the spread offenses in the AAC conference. Whatever he runs here I’m for it lol!!!

I have heard 3-3-5, and thats what it looked like during their UGA game

I just don't see any way that he could run that with our personnel next year. DL is probably our best and deepest unit, and LB is probably our worst and thinnest unit.

His background is 4-3 and he ran 4-3 in 2019 but transitioned to 3-3-5 last year. He can run either.

Based on his history, he’ll run what best fits his players’ abilities.

Probably mostly will run a 4-2-5 based on our d line and how offense runs in CFB now.

4-2-5 and 3-3-5 are basically the same thing.

I hope so. I worry how BJ Ouljilri, Ali Gaye and Andre Anthony fit in a 3-3-5

Hopefully he will run the defense that best fits the players that will be in camp this spring, summer and fall and, if he prefers something different, then recruits players to fit it.

I believe he is of the philosophy of getting the best players on the field and using them to their strengths.

I don’t give a damn what he runs! As long as we don’t see the shite show blown coverages we saw last season.
