You guys think of things too much in terms of black and white (no pun intended)

The fact is that a true dual threat is ideal for any system

lets not forget that Canada has zero of his QB recruits signed up right now
that's actually not true. He recruited Etling when he was at Wisconsin

1)In 2010 JJ was the QB for the entire year.

2)2011 wasn't a dual QB system. We had JL start and play almost all the snaps until Alabama made him quit and then JJ started the rest of the season while JL watched from the bench.

You receive no points and may God have mercy on your soul.

The one thing that a true QB must be able to do regardless of style is deliver the ball where it needs to be. It doesn't matter if the QB is sitting in the pocket and asked to throw the majority of the time or he is part of a read option and has to run or hand off most of the time. At some point QBs have to be able to pass with accuracy. This is why Canada can build a system around either type of QB and play to the strengths they have. The better they are able to throw the better the offense will look.

IIRC he didn't start, but Lee had about half the att/gm JJ had and his career best vs Bama.

You new here? Canadas calling card is the ability to build an offense around his players. His big thing was- give me the best players and I'll score points with them*

*offer not valid with current QB play

From the videos I've seen, he like the QB that can go bang bang bang bang
