Does B Harris get any 2nd half action when we're up big?

Hopefully he can take R. Jefferson's spot at safety...

No because Etling needs to work on his deep ball all four quarters.

You'll have to ask coach.

I would like to see him come in and run the spread. It would do things...make opponents prepare for two different systems, and provide a legit plan b in case DE gets dinged, because plan a with BH wasn't working.

Funny last season people bashed Miles for not getting the 2nd string qb snaps. When people made this argument they were hammered for it.

I know Etling needs the work but if we get up big, I'd like to see Harris, running the Ensminger offense, in the game. I'd like to see how he responds after being out of the pressure cooker for a few weeks. He may relax and be fine and play like he reportedly did in practice. You never know what may happen in the future. I don't want a new QB controversy but I think O can handle one under these set of circumstances if he did well or if Etling did poorly.

I would give him real playing time.

It's obvious that the prior regime negatively affected QB performance.

In any case, DE is not a large man. It might be nice to at least get BH's head right so he's not useless if he's needed

To be honest, I would love to see Lindsay Scott get some time. Dude is outrageously talented. Played against him in HS and watched him play my brother after I graduated.

He did last game, so I would imagine yes. And if we're up big in the second half we're not going to be throwing it around and making him look good.

O did say after the Mizzou game that they MIGHT look at some offensive packages for BH. If they do, then that's where he'll rebound. Not in a clean up role against Southern Miss.

Did not say it needed to happen or that it would happen, I was just saying that after playing against him and watching him play in person I just hope he eventually gets a shot.

It would help to keep Brandon interested in getting better and being ready to perform, because Etling runs around with reckless abandon. It will only be a matter of time before he is sidelined if he doesn't learn to slide.

I'd like to see Harris get some meaningful snaps, which means the opportunity to throw the ball some. Etling is just one hit away from Harris being needed. Giving BH some reps will keep him prepared and involved mentally.

He should, and we should have a few plays for him using read option and bootleg passes. Give Ole Piss,Bama more stuff to prep for

BH6 played the last series in the Missouri game.

He threw no passes.
