So they lost to Mississippi fricking State by 30 just to set things up for Florida?

I thought the same thing until we got hammered by Moo State. Had we "barely won" against Moo State, I might be more prone to believing this to be the case. Given that even losing to Moo State in a close game then coming back and thrashing the rest of the SEC and winning the SEC still puts you in the playoffs as there is no way Moo State is going 11 and 1. It would have been "plausible" as the Mythbusters would put it, but getting beat down like a Nickleback fan at a Slipknot concert put and end to any of that line of thinking.

I'm not reading this thread because I'm sure it's full of shite just like the others. You're on to something but it has been more on discipline and circumstance that has lead us here. Players were suspended, took a leave of absence, injured, and transferred. The youth and inexperienced are gaining knowledge daily. When Herron comes back and Key gets to his form, the defense will play better.
This will help the offense as well. The line will eventually get better at pass protecting but it's going to have to step up against a few SEC teams if we want to go 10-2 or 9-3. They're may be 3-5 plays that didn't get used during the previous games that might come out in the SEC. Let's just hope Guice and the rest get healthy.

We see more of it I would bet. They saw the film. But it's not necessarily what Canada stays with. He and CEO want to run the rock. That's how this offense will look more than likely. But look at WR and TE next year vs our RBs. Our strength may be 3-4 wide. Can't wait to see Moss Sullivan Drake lined up next season. With Myles potential he could be a gun slinger. Strong arm.. quick release.. poise (already shown some) .. willing to stay in there under pressure. I'm excited about the future. Talent is there next season

There was a time before the MSU game that I believed this. I WANTED to believe we were sandbagging so we could shock and awe MSU. Then depending on how bad we trashed MSU, we'd have a lot of cards when we played Florida.
Now I feel like ole Jack Nicholson asking...'What if this is as good as it gets?!?'
But hey, one loss team winning record so far. The sad thing is we have huge chance of losing every game after Troy. But even leading into the aTm game some will still believe this is the case and that we're holding something back.
