Does anyone have any scoop on John David Moore's recovery?

LF is his usual dominant self, but IMHO, JDM is the difference in LF getting 175 ypg versus 225+ ypg. Not to take away from UF's defense, but if JDM was healthy, I seriously doubt you would have seen UF still gang tackling Fournette in the 4th quarter. The combination of JDM and Fournette is truly special-- reminds me of the synchronicity b/w Daryl Johnston and Emmitt Smith.

Since OP derailed his own thread, any info on his recovery? Will he be back for Bama?

Moore will be out for awhile.
Mouton is actually more athletic and will be a better FB than Moore once he learns everything he needs to do.

What a stupid thing to say. JDM was having a fantastic season and is missed. Just throw on the tape. So, now two people are effusive of their praise of JDM. He must have multiple accounts on the board.

The biggest difference I see in JDM and BM is hat placement. JDM is so good at attacking the correct side/shoulder of the defenders and sealing them off. Mouton hasn't gotten there yet but once he gets that figured out, and a few of the other finer points of the position, his ceiling is much higher.

BM is the superior athlete but he needs more time to be groomed. The good news is who's better at showing him how its done than JDM? The future of this position is bright.

Mouton has filled the role really well considering he is a true freshman and has played against substantially better defenses. I wish JDM the best and hope he recovers fully, but Mouton has stepped up tremendously.

Not at all. LF referred to JDM as his "flashlight" and watching the tandem, LF has an inate feel to how JDM is blocking down and which way to cut. There is indeed synchronicity between the two of them, and while Mouton is good, JDM and LF are on a whole other level together. Hope he is well in time for Bama!
