Does anybody remember the crap this board threw at Maineri ?

Specifically after he got rid of a bunch of players to bring in "his guys".
A bunch of player's family members and friends went absolutely batshit crazy on the board with all kind of doomsday predictions for Coach Maineri, for about two weeks.
Does anybody remember that?
Seems like a 1000 years ago tonight.

I remember a lot of bashing his first year the way he treated some players on the team. It's amazing how winning heals all.

He dared to put quotes in the paper in 2007 about needing to upgrade the talent of the program. A tad undiplomatic to the players at the time ("HE'S THROWING THE PLAYERS UNDER THE BUS!!!"), but nobody could say with a straight face that it wasn't absolutely true.

well everything he's done to this point has been pretty flawless.
if we dont win, and he makes a bad coaching decision, then maybe we can say something.
but if we do what we do, and lose straight up, i will not think any less of PM

wise sucked his 1 year under PM, and from what i understand he had a bad attitude

meh, its almost a joke now at this point the way our team is hitting.
At the time i remember saying that if he let these guys go, and didnt replace them with people that could play, then he wouldnt last long.
But he has done just the opposite in a very short period of time.
