Not really. But I catch myself listening to him because I'm a college football junkie.

I usually turn the channel as soon as he burst out in a hysterical laughter about something that's not even funny. That means I don't listen to him too much.

Tim must have been one of those early morning DJs with the fake laugh early in his career.

Every week y'all post a complaint about some media analyst picking the Tigers to lose, and every time they have been proven right (I didn't see one of these posts last week). When are you guys going to learn that they may be on to something?

Not me... I don't take anybody's predictions seriously. Brando is pretty bad at it, actually.

used to kind of pull for him the way I like to see all people from Louisiana gain some success, he douched out on his success, he's a dork

ETA: still can't stop laughing at the image of him riding around Shreveport in his karate outfit while he was a KROK jock

To answer your question, no, I don't care what he says. I don't like to listen to him on Sirius 91 as he seems more interested in name dropping and telling who he has recently been with. That almost seems more important to him than the actual broadcast.

quote:

that Kentucky will beat LSU this Saturday,

What was his reasoning? They beat Kentucky at home and we beat them at home.

quote:

that ours is a team in deep trouble,

Again, what reasoning? I realize we are not NC quality this year but to say we are in trouble. Didn't he pick us to beat MSST?

quote:

that Anthony Jennings is surely a nice guy but just doesn't cut it as a quarterback despite given ample opportunity...

AJ is still learning the game and will get better. I believe that BH has more upside and a higher ceiling but that will all play itself out through the year.

I don't care what he says as long as he doesn't call a football game I'm watching again. He's awful

How many posters who complain about people leaving early actually attend the games? People complain about what they see on TV. If you live in BR and complain about the attendance, then you have no reason to complain. A true tiger fan living in BR, can go outside the stadium before kickoff and find people trying to sell tickets. Almost every team in the SEC has the problem of fans leaving early. In fact, this problem was so bad at Bama that Saban called the Bama fans out.

I listen to him on the satellite radio when I'm running around Houston going to meetings. I always felt like he was pro LSU.

Some on this board think anyone who voices any criticisms about what is going on with LSU football are haters and that is just not a realistic argument.

I think LSU wins, but it is not an insane prediction by any means. I remember all the butt hurt on here about 14 straight 19 out of 20 and how could State make up 33 points from last year because analysts picked State. Of course none of that mattered..just like Bama beating pigs 52-0 last two years, yes pigs only made up 51. Bama beating Auburn 49-0 in 2012..Auburn made up 55 points.

Not saying UK is as good as State, just saying they are not very good and neither is LSU. Having said that I still think LSU wins.

Brando has done more for LSU than any of you jerks that are on this board trying to h berate him. His loyalty is undeniable. If his comments help inspire Jennings and the rest of the team to step up and play better then I'm all for it. If not then they'll just prove him right.

No. I've got nothing against the guy but to be honest I didn't know he was still in sports broadcasting.

If he's using the fact that KY has a more than decent pass defense and that Towles is running QB (most rushing attempts on the team) as his basis then he has a leg to stand on.

Then again, maybe the QB run thing has been addressed; did see penetration and several TFL's against UF and let's see how they do with a not so good run D vs a LSU rushing attack.
