I wish JA had been fired before Miles. I was scared shitless over the prospect of having him have any part in choosing the next LSU football coach after his mediocre, at best, Coaching hires to that point in time.

Also, you don't decide to retain a coach at the end of 2015 only to fire him 4 games into 2016. Especially not one who had produced as much success for your program as miles had. It made LSU look bad and has the possibility of giving other head coaches out there pause in wanting to cast their lot with LSU.

If my choice is between Miles and O, I would take miles in a heartbeat. I will always go with the coach who is taking teams to two different national championship games as opposed to the coach who hasn't taken teams anywhere. That sounds like a no-brainer to me, but each to our own.

Put me down for yes instead of this shiteshow that didn't just start Sat nite.

I know that watching the same old offense of Toss dive and running straight ahead into 8-9 men stacked in the box was redundant and not very productive.
You should check facts.
Compared to last couple years, the run game is down considerably (+1ypc) vs meh competition and LSU should have more than 2 gains for 20+ with a long of 25yds. Subsequently we have a tired undermanned defense.

I think on offense a lot emphasis has been placed on the razzle dazzle instead of actual tech and this reeks of Crowton(on roids).

I guess my Air Canada shirt will soon be a grease rag.
Downvote away.

No

He won a hell of a lot of games but just maybe "It's not whether you win or lose; It's how you play the game." The fan base would have been a lot more forgiving of his losses if he had made an honest effort to play modern football.

It was time for him to go.

No. But I'm still pissed we hired a career DLine and failed Head Coach to replace him.

There are literally 15 coaches that would have killed to have the LSU job that are more qualified than this fricking joker.

But hey, he talks like us and makes a mean jambalaya!

Fact is there's plenty "modern ball" been played in SEC with much worse results than Miles had.

Seeing you refer to anyone as an idiot after your slobbering all over O is some funny shite!

You have to be a real clown and without ANY college football sense pick the O shitshow over Les, but then that's what idiots do.

No. That Wisconsin loss in the first game of 2016 soured me on him. That was ugly. That time management debacle in the loss to Auburn later in the season didn't help either.

Mullen had some great play calling against LSU. Cleaned our clock on several plays

No...he obviously needed to move on...but had i known that O was going to be the choice, we could've waited another year to fire him.

I'd take Les over O any day. I was happy when Miles was fired bc it was his time to go. But no way he loses by 30 to Moo State. O has never managed a program successfully. Letting O have this job is like asking a sprinter to win a marathon.

I would rather Les than O if that's what you're getting at. It was time to move on though.
