Oregon's offense is no good because they score too quickly.

That is the stupidest thing i've ever heard....their offense is legit

Why is that stupid? Non-pro-style offenses conceed that your personnel are not capable of linig it up and controlling the game.

We have the better athlete than 99% of the teams out there right now. You can score 50+ with a pro-style. You just need to run it correctly. And it translates to better pro prospects which equals better recruiting built in.

No.

LSU still has a better overall offense and preparation and coaching needed to assure victory.

Of course they do. Is that even debatable?

no. we have been improving once half our OL went down albeit damn slowly. we are a better running team; their qb is a little better at passing but their OL is about like us at pass blocking. i think we are a better and a deeper team than msu.

Not only that, they look bigger and faster than the Florida team I watched in person.

their offense will put up better stats against weaker defenses but will be relatively easy to stop against top defenses. LSU's offensive philosophy is to grind the clock to limit the opposing offense's opportunities, so it isn't going to roll up big numbers. It is also a better philosophy against stronger defenses because it's tougher to scheme against...just like Alabama's.

With that said, LSU's offense isn't being executed very well right now, so the the apparent advantages of the philosophy aren't showing up...

Put our players in that offense and not only are we undefeated, we blow people out. Dan Mullen is a very good offensive coach.
