BDJ will be the greatest ever! He will throw the ball over the mountains and throw a touchdown to himself. Then he will impregnate the cheerleader by simply walking by them!

If he does that’s fine. But he doesn’t play for LSU anymore. I wish him the best but it’s time to move on from him.

I think he can be
It’s up to the bengals to get him the proper supporting cast
He does have a young minded offensive head coach to help transition
Like Peyton said it’s a marathon not a sprint

His decision-making is one of this best attributes, so having good to great skill position players is the key to his success, IMO, so he can read/react/distribute the ball effectively.

That's really the key for him.

So guys like Rich Gannon, Brian Sipe, Ken Anderson, Steve McNair, Boomer Esiason, Trent Dilfer, Jeff Hostetler, Jim Plunkett, Brad Johnson, Joe Flacco? Guy that have been MVP's or Super Bowl winning QB's - none of whom have been to more than 4 Pro Bowls are the "elites".

Respectfully disagree. Joe is an LSU icon. To quote TM7: "Icons are timeless. Their star never fades." One does not "move on" from an icon, because the icon is always there, never to be forgotten. "And once you see him, he stays with you forever."
As far as will Joe be a superstar, I will go with whatever Joes says about that. Because I NEVER bet against Joe Burreaux.

You never really know, no matter how good someone was in college. But I sure as hell wouldn't bet against the guy.
correct, the NFL and college are different games. And so much depends on what team he plays for.

But he’s got the tools.

If I was an NFL team I would trade up for him. I would trade a bunch for him. Wouldn't touch Tua with a 20 ft pole. He wasn't good when pressured. He might have the career Jon Kitna did.

Joe Flacco was a pretty damn good QB and led the league or was top in several stats that year and for a couple of years. Steve McNair was a gamer. Your point is valid for Rich Gannon. He was serviceable tho. That defense was effing amazing. Super underated defense.

-great leader of men and teammates respond to him
-performed beyond well in every clutch situation against top teams
-used his experience at OSU and 2018 as fuel and motivation to achieve what he did this season, displaying lethal drive and competitiveness
-great touch on his passes
-per interviews and work ethic, kept everything in perspective and demonstrated a commitment to improving and achieving great things

Unequivocally yes, he possesses the intangibles of Brady/Montana and athleticism of Montana, this dude is gonna KICK THE shite out of the NFL

All depending on what kind of team Cincinnati puts on the field with him...

This is the key. If it’s an Archie Manning/Saints situation, then no. But if the Bengals invest on getting the right players around him, then the sky is the limit.
Don’t forget, he had a phenomenal year but he had a wealth of talent around him and the team jelled.
If he gets that in Cincy, they will take off.
He has the desire to justify being the #1 pick, unlike another #1 QB pick from LSU a few years ago !

Define near the top. Flacco was 14th in yards 16th in TDs. 18 in QBR 12 in QB Rating. Flacco was always an kind of avg QB that got hot in one playoff run which got him paid big time

That's short sighted thinking. LSU players that excel in the NFL are a great recruiting tool, especially when they talk about their love for the institution.

Ryan Clark and Marcus Spears trolling Steven A during the NC run was recruiting gold. TM7's contributions to the new facility and love for LSU make an impression on 17 year old kids looking for a home for the next 3-4 years.

NFLSU, The Boot and all of the things that build the brand are invaluable.
