for what?? signing Kevin Faulk??

Yes.

And Josh Reed, Rohan Davey, Bradie James, Trev Faulk, Jarvis Green, Toefield, DD, Jerel Myers, and tons of other players that were the backbone of the 2001 SEC Championship team that laid the foundation for 2003.

So yeah. That stuff.

And home white jerseys

Dinardo Brought us out of some very dark times. He should be remembered as such. Only reply if your old enough to grow facial hair .

He should be. He at least was able to return some level of expectations here that the powers that be knew they could no longer shop for their coaches at Wal Mart.

Dinardo deserves a ton of credit for bringing us back to the cusp of relevance on the national level, which Saban built on. If you don't think so, "You Don't Know Buick."

I believe his contributions are very underrated.

there are. if he would have just canned tepper and hired a real DC he would have been great. to this day, i just cannot understand why he stood by teh worst defensive coordinator in college football. i always liked dinardo and thought he was a great fit for LSU.

I don't think he's bitter. Probably just after his firing, but not now.
DiNardo & Miles are good friends. They coached together at Colorado and Dinardo was in Miles' wedding.
Dinardo was in the tunnel at the '07 national championship game. He seemed genuinely happy for Les & LSU.
If Miles asked him to comeback for some kind of recognition, he probably would.
He deserves a lot of credit for getting fans excited about the program again. 26 wins in his first three seasons with three bowl wins was something LSU fans wondered if they'd experience in the years prior to his arrival.

Recognized for what,Independence Bowls?

His recruiting was good to a point, but not elite level like Saban or Miles.

As a coach he was a level above Hallman, but a level below Miles and two below Saban.

The '96 and '97 teams shared Western Division titles...not the first seed either time, but it was still nice relief after a tough half-decade...

False. I have heard him repeatedly speak fondly of his time at LSU and heard him say he understood why he was asked to leave. I always really liked him.

They don't need to. He is deified on this board on a daily basis.
