Not sold on Etling at all (and anyone who is :) that said, harris can't complete a forward pass

I agree with you. Brandon is a very talented athlete, use him! Coach O is wanting to change things up, use him somehow. Throw a shotgun triple option at them. BH would be incredible at that.

I'd rather run a triple option with Leonard at QB and Guice and Dupre in the backfield if we're going to take away the ability to pass out of a formation.

True. I think Harris read option was knowing he was going to run prior to the snap. That's no read option at all. JMO

They should have Harris working read option and run/pass option. Could be a good change of pace.
