You were in the minority then. The derision on this board when FSU hired him was something to behold. I'd search and quote shite if I actually cared that much.

I love the types of plays Jimbo calls. He's a good coach for Florida State.

True, Saban's micromanaging the offense in 2004 was painful to watch and only stunted Russell's growth

i have never seen jimbo fisher call an offense like he did 2006 auburn, and i've seen plenty of saturdays under les that look like 2006 auburn (under 4 different OCs)

if something bad happens that is within his pattern of behavior, it is his fault

throwing tosses to slow RBs is a staple of les miles football and only has occurred under jimbo while les was the HC

I actually think he's a better HC than an OC, and I wouldn't mind at all if we hired him at some point after Les, if he were willing to come back.

i called out saban heavily in 2004

the D was even worse. saban obviously had read his own press clippings and our DBs would just have fade after fade thrown with 1-on-1 coverage

Only if he is our coach because he can recruit and coach quarterbacks.

I don't mind him, although he frustrated me at times, sure.

But this board was a vortex of Fisher/Stacy Searles hate for years, let's not pretend any different

You are correct, there were a lot of people mocking bubble screens on this board. Personally, I see no problem with a bubble screen if you have physical receivers blocking on the outside. 6 yards is 6 yards no matter how you get there.

don't get me wrong, i think cam is incredible. the receivers are making him and harris look much, much worse than they really are. last year cameron's problem was anthony the arm jennings. before that, cam's o was good enough to win almost every game.

I think Jimbo is a good coach but he is no diff than Les other than he backed a criminal at qb and made him look really silly. Did you not watch that play off game last year?

No? Ok so lets look at Saturday, 24-16 against wake forrest, you guys would want him fired, not good enough? Two weeks ago a 14-0 beat down of boston college. Does any of this look familiar? inferior opponents. Close games.

So lets look at Last season.
37-35 win against Ga tech, fired. 24-19 against a really bad Uf team, fired. Another 20-17 beat down of boston college. 30-26 win against Miami. 34-20 win against UVA. 42-31 win against UL. 31-27 win against ND. 38-20 win against Syracuse. 56-41 win against NC State. 23-17 win against Clemson. 37-31 win against Oklahoma State.

Now tell me how any of those schools had any business even being in these games against FSU and Jameis Winston? A program that has out recruited LSU for over 2 decades. It looks like a lot of similar results against far weaker competition. They had a great season in 2013, and prior to that their seasons are littered with losses against teams like wake forrest, nc state and UVA. No business losing those games.

With a pro style passer, an elite rb and offensive line, and receivers who can actually catch, yes.

tGOAT offensive coordinator. He put a gameplan together for a qb to be successful in one week.
