East Baton Rouge District Attorney Hillar Moore said Monday that charges against Jennings and three other LSU players have not been dropped and that authorities are reviewing the case. Moore said he’s “not sure” when a resolution will come.

Jennings’ lawyer, Brent Stockstill, has been in communication with Moore, and the two have “exchanged evidence back and forth,” Stockstill said Monday.

“We haven’t reached any resolution,” Stockstill said. “I’m positive about the outcome. Nothing has happened yet.”

Miles made similar comments as Monday’s last week at Southeastern Conference Media Days, saying he’s “confident” that Jennings and three other arrested football players will have their cases resolved soon, allowing them to return to the team.

That is why he dismissed that piece of trash Trey Lmao off our team. To make an example out someone. You are moaning about something Coach Miles has already acted on. Simmer down

Hell at most other schools this wouldn't even make news. But at LSU seems like professors and police are out to get LSU football players.

Sumlin had a lot of issues so he invites the entire team, police staff both on and off campus over to his house for a bbq. LSU needs to do the same.

Your favorite coach in the world has a guy with two DUIs penciled in to start in his secondary. He will miss zero game time.

This is the part where you shut the frick up.

I would say that the police and DA treat the football players like any other student, which is a good thing. I don't feel that Hill got any special treatment, and he got a sentence that nearly any college kid in his situation would have gotten.

I have little sympathy for the internet hard asses who want to throw the book at everyone, but I do believe strongly that the justice system should treat all of us equally. And I think the BR justice system strives to achieve that goal.

I think the four players will likely plead down to misdemeanors and see a minor punishment, but no jail time. Which I think is fully appropriate if Joe Blow committed this crime. This is kids being dumb, and we don't need to ruin their lives over it. Have some damn discretion. But they also don't get fast tracked just to make it convenient for the football team.

He must be your favorite coach in the world because you're keeping up with him.
That's like saying it's ok for your kids to be frickups because the neighbors kids are.

Here's a story about the 2nd.

Not likely, the plantiff is more likely to face theft charges than Jennings is. Remember he stole the stuff from Jennings and Jennings filed a complaint with BR police who failed to act on the complaint. Might be a kid of someone in the BR government so they ignored it.

I think there's a small gray area in terms of whether the all property that was removed from the apartment belonged to Jennings.

At worst, the players will face restitution of a few hundred bucks for the stolen items and property damage.

Fans like you are the worst. Here is a scenario for you. What if Brandon Harris gets hurt?? Im not saying that AJ will be the starter because Harris is the better player. AJ would be a more than capable back up with a year of experience. We want him back because he adds depth.

then the lefty will let it fly. If Jennings has to be the starting qb anytime this year, there will be zero chance that LSU wins the SEC or sees the playoffs

So you are saying we have a better chance with a true freshman?? You must have been one of the fans who actually thought BH would play well against Auburn.

This isn't really a "player" issue. It is a police and DA issue and they will finish with it when they finish with it. considering the circumstances, it isn't likely to be a serious charge, if any charge is made. Being college football players doesn't really affect the situation.
