On observation... Alabama is overwhelmed with the desire to win. To the point that, from what I've been told by folks who are supposed to know... they will cheat in recruiting and, they will pay whatever they have to pay to get and keep a coach. They want to win. Doesn't matter how... just win..

LSU wants to win but, from what I've been told.. not if it means cheating at recruiting etc...

With that mindset, if LSU plays Bama 10 times, Bama is likely gonna win 8 of them.

I'm not saying LSU should be consumed by winning.... just pointing out an observation between two schools.

That mindset is only held by our AD. Win as long as it's convenient and not too pricey.

You don't think Skip had that philosophy?

Saban brings his A game against LSU. He always will. It may not be a rivalry to Bama fans, but you can bet that Saban has this game circled EVERY year, and always will. His legacy has hinged on being able to beat LSU. We get their best shot every year, and probably will until Saban is gone.

Agree. My wife & I were talking about that yesterday. I believe he has 2 games every year circled; LSU & Auburn
