Difference between Harris and Etling

Etling stepped up into the pocket, meneuvered very well to avoid a sack with excellent pocket awareness, checked his options stepped into the throw for a completion
Harris would take the snap, not meneuver himself much at all into and around the pocket, if his first option is taken he would get confused and try to buy more time by running to the outside
ETA: Etling also saw all those 1 on 1s with dupre vs a smaller corner deep with no safety, but dupre drops the ball in his hands of course

Yep. Etling steps up and into throws while Harris moves sideways and side arms throws.

Etling keeps his feet squared and climbs the pocket like a pro. Harris loses his composure on game day. Let's his nerves get the best of him.

When you are in the pocket it is much easier to see those underneath routes!

One is a good QB the other isn't.

He is much more comfortable in the pocket. I can't eval Harris as much as he was never given a chance to settle down. Should have sat for a couple of series last week.

Football brains and emotional maturity on the field.
Harris would probably be hell on wheels at Northwestern State and he may want to consider that option after this season.
