Didn't miles flirt with Michigan twice and Arkansas?

He didn't mind extorting lsu and Alleva. However, people are saying Alleva has handled this wrong and miles deserves better. If miles was all lsu, he wouldn't have played the extorting game for money.

This is business, let's see how it plays out. I'm not blaming and pointing fingers as both parties have fault. Their aren't innocent parties in this.

I'm beginning to wonder if Tigerdroppings is like Ashley Madison in that 98% of the accounts are bots.

Arguably he was a candidate for the first Michigan opening, and no reasonable person would have held it against him.. I don't think he was ever in serious consideration for the second. Nor am I convinced there was much to the Arkansas story. If somebody makes a pitch, you listen to it. That doesn't mean you're committing extortion. I daresay there's not a poster here who wouldn't use all the leverage available to get more money out of his current employer.

At the time, I thought the Miles to Michigan threat was a real possibility. The Miles to R-Kansas thing was ridiculous. It was purely a contract negotiating ploy and we fell for it hook, line and sinker.

Man oh man you haters won't stop huh. You've gotten your wish, miles is leaving.

What is the point of still ripping him? Makes you feel important or something? Have some respect, a bunch of douches in this fan base damn it's ridiculous

he wasn't a serious candidate for the second michigan job opening because the boosters didn't want him.

and the point that the original poster was trying to make is that if miles is as pro LSU as he always claims and it's 'all about the kids' as he says in the past few days, then why does he need leverage for more money?... isn't working with the kids at LSU enough or is it just an act to get himself entrenched in the fan base so he can milk more money out of LSU?... miles act that endears him to the tiger fans of lesser intelligence is getting quite old... almost as old as losing to bama.

I've been a miles supporter dumbass. I'm just not an Alleva basher like a lot on here. So if you support miles you have to bash Alleva?

this isn't for miles, he won't read this... this is for all you ignorant arse miles supporters who didn't see that this would end in back to back underachieving seasons... for screaming that miles isn't going anywhere, yelling about ten win seasons and taunting people who know more about football than you do.... that's right, i'm rubbing your noses in the crap stains that you've left in the carpet of my LSU living room... you've earned it, so deal with it.

I daresay that it goes both ways. Employer wanted more out of its employee.

Suppose you really, really like your boss. You have a great work situation. Are you going to take less money when you could be making more? You don't know what the future holds, and loyalty will get you nowhere. You strike while the iron is hot, and get what you can. If Miles had never looked at another offer, and gone 0-3 in November, he would still be on the hotseat, his love and loyalty for LSU notwithstanding. Michigan and Arkansas are just red herrings for the people who have always wanted him gone.

Look, nothing lasts forever, and the time may be approaching for Miles and LSU to part ways. But he deserves a better sendoff than he's getting. The Anti-Miles faction have been biding their time for 11 years, and they can't wait to shove him unceremoniously out the door.

You said miles extorted lsu and now it's about alleva?

Lol, funny.

All I am saying is miles will be gone, why keep bringing up this crap?

I'm not bashing either one of them. I respect the work miles has done here and Joe is doing what he thinks needs to be done.

To constantly bring this shite up over and over and over at this point is stupid. Why is it about bashing anyone other than ppl who start dumbass threads?

Again I love Les, respect the job he has done and will miss him when gone. And I will hope Joe makes the right hire.

frickING ENOUGH WITH PRO MILES ANTI JOE ANTI MILES PRO JOE shite!!!!!

Forever fricking lsu

Hell yes he did. And the Arky situation was fricked up! One of his best friends is the AD. It was never legit and only a ploy to be greedy and frick LSU out of cash.

Karma is a bitch to this "great" person.

See ya

first of all, comparing someone who makes average money with someone who makes over four million a year is completely ridiculous... secondly, claiming that it's all about how you love working with the kids and LSU on one hand and then shaking down LSU for more money every three to four years with the threat of leaving for another job on the other hand IS a contradiction,... but i know,... i know... in the mind's of the little leslie lovers, leslie does no wrong.

lastly,... i'm not doing this for leslie... people need to get that stupid crap out of their head... leslie won't see this post and isn't affected by it in any way... i'm doing this for all you ignorant arse miles supporters who kept miles in town for two years too long because you think leslie is your friend.
