I don't know but I think it's a bigger kick in the balls for Wisconsin to show utter dominance like that and still find a way to blow the game in the second half. I guess that will teach them if you want to beat LSU you better keep your foot on their throat because once you pull up dey mad.

He did take his medicine...good for him, but he still had many parting shots...complete arse. I didn't see all the pregame posters for the Badgers, but the rest of them that I saw seemed to be reasonable fans of their team.

I was thinking of this guy. Never came back after the game. Pretty sure he set a Rant record for downvotes though.

I disagree with the assertion they "blew" the game - although not playing Gordon (almost not at all) still remains a mystery. However, what did happen was they came out and executed a very simple, but effective scheme and a fairly completed, but effective scheme on defense.

We were stymied - no questions. But, the comeback we mounted did not appear, to me, that Wisconsin was blowing it - heck, they were throwing the ball more with a big lead and as we were coming back, than they did when it was closer.

And, our execution got better as their's deterioriated - we got stronger while they got weaker.

Depth was the biggest factor, IMHO - our reserves were better than their reserves - and our guys never quit.

He did come back but since that was an alter, his thread got whacked.

It was later revealed that Gordon had a hip injury. I wish LSU would have stacked the box from the start of the game. Woulda been a very different outcome.

I didn't see that anywhere honestly.

Classic case of where you can make a really good argument that LSU won the game or Wisky lost it.

To me, LSU wasn't going to win that game without the injuries to Wisky's D-line. Wisky has enough top end talent, through development, to stay with most teams. They don't have depth to cover for guys who go out however, and that ate them alive

It goes both ways, though. Our top CB was suspended, as was our starting Center.

People talk about the WI injuries as though LSU lucked out that those guys got injured. They got injured because of the physical beating they took. Obviously, LSU didn't intend (and should never intend) to injure anyone. However, I think the injuries may reflect just how physical of a team we are. Teams can be very talented and effective until they get beat down physically. Wisconsin is traditionally known as a tough, physical team. It also puts its share of quality players in the NFL. LSU did not back down or fold in this game. That's impressive, considering who Wisconsin is.

How does it go both ways when LSU has 5* guys riding the bench?

Wisky doesn't have the depth that teams like LSU/Bama/OSU/Texas/Florida have. They have 4-5 good DL, while those other teams are 8 deep. If OSU losses a DL (we have one out the first 2 weeks) it's literally just another stud coming in.

It doesn't go both ways when one team has depth and one doesn't
