Why the hell would we redshirt him? He is likely to be the #1 qb next year. Does anyone really think he would start for 4 years and not turn pro? I would rather not have a qb that is still not draft ready after starting for 3 years.

mett had already redshirted his first year at UGA. then one year at JUCO. he had 3 to play 3 at LSU

For some reason it did not get much play here on the Rant but CLM's said at his press conference, in response to a question why he didn't play Jennings more at the end of the State game last wk: I wanted to give ZM experience running out the rest of the game. Hard to believe Mett would need to practice that but that was CLM's answer

All you airheads are hilarious. I still got multiple answers to the question, which make me pretty confident none of you have a definitive answer. Also, any of you saying it makes sense to burn a whole year of eligibility for a few meaningless plays, or because you think you know he will go pro in 3 years, are dumber than a dirt clod.
