I wouldnt call it "purposely injuring". I dont think these kids are honestly that vile.... I just think they wanted to try to make his job a little bit harder, and make him a little more tired and sore, by trying to skirt the rules.

Bush league stuff, ya know?

This shite happens all the time.

They weren't trying to injure the kid. They were trying to hurt him. There is a difference.

The bottom of the pile is a rough place to be.

You're right. A finger jab in the eye is a well known pleasurable experience.

A finger in the eye could cause damage that can lead to permanent injury. The piece of shite florida players knowingly attempted to injure. That is vile. frick those tPOS players.

It sure looked like it to me. Considering there is a decent chance we will face them again, I wouldnt blame them for trying.

Tara Brown
Just one question for Fournette if you don't know who did it and there were six people on top of you including some of your own teammates I am sure how do you know it was on purpose? That makes no sense and makes you look like a complete idiot!

6 people
Lee Keyser
I recall FLORIDA players complaing about this vs West Virginia in the 94 Sugar Bowl.

Lee Keyser I would have said the same thing then about the player who complained! It is just stupid to say it was done on purpose when you don't even know who did it! I bet he would deny taking a swing at the gator player last night if they were complaining but wait that's right they aren't complaining or pointing fingers because they have class!

Ok, well poking a guy in the eye and hitting him a little late/a little more punishing under the pile are different things. The article was about all of these things. Maybe one guy was trying to but idk if you want to group the entire team as trying to injure him.

Its like when you know a guy has an injury so you hit him a little harder or aim for that area. You arent trying to injure him, but you want it to hurt.

Damn Buga is good. 1200 yards in 6 games he'd be close to 1400 on the season if he wasn't rained out.

it's going to be a shame if he ends the season around 1,850 yards.. and lost a 2k season to the rain
