The thread here and the college baseball guys on Twitter are all saying 3:00.

Last night, Bill Francques kept saying 2:00.

Did something change? Doesn't really matter to me because I'm gonna go regardless. Just didn't know.

Clueless as to why they wouldn't move game up to account for rain. Could be another long night.

We have to do what ESPN tells us to do.

ESPN will lose billions of dollars if we move the game up.

LSU got 31 million dollars partly from letting ESPN tell them when to play the games.
How much of that are you going to make up so you personally can get the game times you want?

So we're just supposed to be whores? Okay?

It's college baseball. Moving a Tulane/Lehigh baseball game up 2 hours to guarantee an 8:00 start would literally affect about 194 people.

For starters it's not LSU's call to move a game time up. That would be up to the NCAA and thier on site representative.

SEC Network has the South Florida-Florida game slated for a 5 p.m. start. Moving the LSU game up two hours means that would conflict with the USF-UF game and mean no TV for UNCW-LSU. Moving Tulane-Lehigh up two hours really wouldn't affect that.

We're not talking about moving the late game up AT ALL. At least I'm not. I want the 8:00 starting time.

The issue is that if the early game starts at 3 or 4, after the inevitable 3 hour rain delay because it has rained every single day for about 2 weeks, the late game will now start at 9 or 10.

If Tulane/Lehigh begins at 12 or 1, they'll get the game in or be in the 8th inning before the inevitable storm and the late game will still start on time.

Ah OK. Yeah, I don't know.

Heck, I don't know why they can't start everything earlier. SEC Network has filler programming between 3-5 today. But I'm not in charge, so . I'll stay up until 3 or 4 a.m. to watch the LSU game if I have to.

Here's a flash for you. The entire sports world does NOT revolve around the Baton Rouge Regional. This is not an LSU event. It is an NCAA event and they call the shots.
Seriously you don't have anything more pressing to get your panties in a wad over?
