Corso's going to be in Port Allen. Herbstreit will be at Memorial Stadium. Chris Fowler can sit wherever he wants.

From Herb Vincent

quote:

"You have erroneous information. ESPN Gameday will not be held at the track stadium. A site has not been determined.

The producers from GameDay are coming to campus tomorrow to look for a satisfactory location. Among the considerations are whether the location is a reserved parking lot, the view of the stadium, the availability of phone lines and Internet, etc.

It would be fitting for them to have it on the golf course

I would love to see someone throw an artillery shell at the set. That would be awesome, an early fireworks display.

I just hope the stadium is in view. I'd rather they not bother coming if they are going to set up out of the way at the parade grounds

The field next to walkons would be one of the best places. less disruptive to parking since the ppl who park in there could park in the hayfield lots It would also provide a good view of the stadium. Now here is wildcard location how about inside The old Alex Box? Fall baseball would be over with and the field is going to be turned into a parking lot anyway. You could put ppl in the stands too, could be a interesting atmosphere.

Seems old Alex Box would be a perfect location. Plenty of room for the crowd and able to have the stadium in the background.

inside of Mike the Tigers cage. Maybe that would give him the motivation to get in there and make it for the pregame festivities. The announcers would also be safe from the onslaught of golf balls.

It is the perfect spot you could even put fans in the grandstand. Its only place I can think of that would disrupt parking or anything else.

Any final word on location yet? It's Wednesday. Game Day trucks/equipment should be arriving for set up soon.
