Did the basketball team not elect to do world travel games?

I thought this was something the basketball team could do once every 4 years and the last time we did this was in 2011 so I figured we'd do it again this year but I feel like if we would be doing this it would have happened by now? Anyone have any insight on this? Are we waiting another year?

I was just looking back and saw we did the old world tour in May of 2011 and got worried we were possibly skipping it this year.
Will Blakeney, Sampson and Victor all be there playing too?
I'm also assuming this month actually means July and not in the next 2 days...

They held off on it because we went to the NCAAT. Our boys won't be able to run a train on Snooki and JWoww like they did in 2011 in Italy though. Simmons, AB, and Sampson will all be playing. Not sure on Victor, we're still waiting on the NCAA ruling on his application for a hardship waiver. I guess he could play since these are just exhibition games.
In related news, Ben and Tone are currently participating in the Nike Hoops Academy and Ben is clearly the best player there. He looks fricking huge. He's now projected to be the No.1 pick on most mock drafts.

If Im not mistaken, they can only do those tours every 4 years

They will play 5 games across Australia. Everyone will be available to play, including Victor. Darcy has been over in Australia all summer playing with an Australia international team. I'm hoping this can get him going for next year.

Do you know when and where in Australia they'll be playing? I didn't see anything on the LSUSports.net calendar. I'm leaving for vacation in Sydney on Wednesday, and I'll be there through July 7th. It might be neat so see the Tigers in action abroad.

For a guy that was supposed to have corner 3 range and stretch skills, I am shocked that the man can't even catch the ball or make a basic pass within the offense. Reminds me of when Dale would get a Romanian who was supposed to be all world and they were six to eight inches shorter than thought and no where near as skilled.
