Did promoting Orgeron ensure he won't be here next year?

Either new coach doesn't want him or he's upset he gets passed over (again). Seems like a nail in coffin that he likely won't be back unless he's ok with going back to his prior gig position.

Wouldn't be great if Orgeron pulled out some big offsets and got the job permanently?

Long term I think Orgeron will get out coached 10 times out of 10 in SEC

That's what I'm thinking. I don't really like that.

I pointed that out on the MSB. Only Ole Miss coach in the past 30 years with a losing overall record.

Yeah he is totally lame duck from here out!

That is a shame too because he was one of our better coaches and an awesome recruiter.

Don't disagree with this. Although, I do think if he does as good a job here as he did at USC, he should seriously considered. I know everyone wants the sexy offensive hire but one thing we do know is that O and fricking with the offense.

He is the recruiting co., and the D line coach. In addition he is from here. All in all, I would really hope the next coach would ask him to stay and that O would continue to want to doing great work at what he is good at here at LSU.

If I were O, I would like that kind of support and continue to be a great part of a great program.

I hope he stays.
