Every year we forced plays to Founette to get a Heisman for LSU and make Fournett happy. We may be better now that is going pro.

I don't recall Fournette getting 38 carries in a game so that he could break a record. Fournette routinely sat once the game was decided even though the opportunity for big stats against a defeated defense was there.

When was it ever said that Fournette had to have a certain amount of carries or he was unhappy or complaining? Miles was one dimensional on offense no matter who the RB was. I'm sure LF7 wanted a passing game to help win games, but we lacked the offensive creativity, and an efficient QB to do so. He pretty much was the option when our QBs couldn't get our receivers the ball.

^^^^^^^^^^ good point. Amazing how quickly some people forget everything that guy has done the past 2-3 years. Guy stayed here to represent our state for 3 years and did a great job of it on and off the field. If he would have gone to Bama to win championships and a heisman (which he would have), this fan base would've had a melt like no other.

I haven't heard anyone say Fournette isn't a great teammate, hard worker, team first guy, etc.

Miles offensive philosophy was seriously flawed and that has ultimately hurt Fournette as much as it has LSU.

He hurt us by not being able to do anythign else.

He also hurt Fournette.

Fournette is a beast but you have to be able to do other things or all 11 plays jsut play run.

For the record, you don't have to put 11 in the box for 11 to play run.

What hurt the team, Miles, etc the most was that Miles didn't and couldn't develop enough big, strong Olinemen. The OL's were routinely overrated and seriously underpeformed. Great Olines solve a lot of problems.

I don't recall to many games that Fournette had over 25 carries. Our Oline sucked against teams that were well coached on the Dline. End of story..

I think the OP's point is directed at Les, not Leonard.

And yes, our O under Les was way too much LF7 centric.

Miles hurt us by letting Fournette participate in a full contact scrimmage a week before the opening game.
