I agree the play calling is not up to date but if you see a back or TE or WR and he has two or three steps on the guy covering him it was the right call at the right time. If the qb airmails it or throws it in the turf thats another story so all plays were not bad calls passes were thrown just not always on target. So my answer is no. Miles did not cost LF that award but a team under playing how they should did and some of that goes on all coaches, eval and development of talent moffit and so on. Whom ever wins it this year can you say that the coach won it and all other rb in ncaa coaches cost them the award.

Ok... someone is going to say... Miles wasn't blocking or running... My point is, his REFUSAL to throw the ball or spread the field some let opposing defenses stack the box and focus on Fournette and it cost the kid the Heisman.

Arkansas:
Harris - 21/35 271
LF - 19 91

Ole Miss:
Harris - 26/51 324
LF - 25 108

So that's 86 attempted passes to 44 rush attempts. That doesnt include called pass plays that were checked down or resulted in Harris running. Isnt this what the rant wanted? Wouldnt you call that throwing the ball and spreading the field?

So you're saying Isis and Katrina would have underachieved?

Of course he did. His refusal adapt to the year 2015 caused the stale offense to be exposed. If he doesn't change, he will cost him again next year.
