The fans storm the field after beating a overrated ole miss team and that's no problem but a coach shows emotions after winning the first away game against a ranked oponnent since '05 and that's too much?

But...ummmm...he's never been there before
He's enjoying a big win. F*** off.

I hope he reacts like that after every game.

No , his biggest win so far.
at #16 Huggins/WV
after the Old Dominion/Clemson losses.
We had to have this week.
Umass and WV wins.
We needed this.

Johnny Jones has lost control of Les's emotion.
50 down now
Great win

Typical.
The fellow is condemned the whole game by our extremely knowledgeable fan base. Then, the team wins and someone wants to get on a bulletin board to suggest that we should make fun of him for being happy.

I fricking hate basketball, and I was jumping up and high fiving my 6 year old and screaming. So no, he didn't overreact. And please, do us all a favor and STFU.

The coaching staff needed this win as much as the players. They aren't in a bubble. They know what was being said about them early in the year and they also know what a huge resume boost this will be come tourney time.
We really do have a miserable fan base. 71 down votes now. Hopefully the morning crew can get you to 100...
ETA: Not going to get to 100 because your terrible thread has been anchored.

Maybe he was just happy that his PG took the ball to the hoop at the end of a game instead of settling for a 35 footer a la Hickey the last three years.
As we all know, JJ loves LSU and it showed last night and I think that counts for something and has to be contagious to the team. Those kids had to be pleased to see their coach get that excited for what they had accomplished and hopefully means they will continue to listen to his coaching.
Plus he has been taking some heat for losses against ODU and Clemson and that had to be a release of frustration for those tough losses and some from last year to. He is taking this program from the hunters to the hunted and that was a huge step last night.
JJ probably works 15 hours a day, 7 days a week on this team and to beat an very good if not outstanding athletic WVU team with a great coach (no matter his personal issues) and one could very easily see them make the final eight or maybe final four just made JJ overcome with excitement. I grew up watching JJ give his heart to LSU on the court, even though he couldn't shoot for crap, he busted his butt on defense and gave every game in uniform all he had just like he is doing as a coach. What a great story and I'm a fan, especially with a guy like Musselman on the bench helping him with the Xs and Os and scouting of the opponenent.
I was happy to see some passion from JJ versus Trent Johnson's walking down to greet the other team with his patented left/right hand shake with a sour look on his face win or lose after ever game.
Good for JJ and now let's get ready to win some SEC games by cutting down on unnessary TOs (looking at ou Josh - I know you can handle the rock better than that). We have a very legitmate shot at being 11-2 on Jan 8 when we head to Missouri.
Also, how good was Timmy Q last night? Clutch play, for the most part made great decisions and his threes and Martin's help in breaking the press were the keys to the game I thought.
GEAUX TIGERS - 24-8 and a #6 seed in the tourney is a very realistic outlook from here.

Bump to try and get your down vote number to 100, you miserable frick.

On the road vs a ranked team who was #1 in turnovers and offensive rebounds in the nation is reason for celebration. Great resume win, and a confidence building one.. I hope you break the down vote record ya prick
