It doesn't matter if all 50 states make it legal. It still violates federal law.

So how do we get this University to change its rules? This needs to be changed immediately.

Why? We just need to get the players to abide by them. They're not all that complicated. 99% of the players have no trouble with them.

It's not fair to the athlete that the majority of LSU smokes weed and our athletes have to be outcasts and leave the room when all of their friends are smoking. I know old people don't want to hear it, just like they hate hearing STTDB. But it is almost 2013 and times are changing.

A part inside of me dies when I think about it. We will never see him in purple and gold again. He was the exact definition of the "it" factor.

Cry me a river.

The majority of LSU students don't get to go to school for free, have free tutoring available all the time, have top notch academic facilities available, represent the university on a national stage, get the fame of being a collegiate athlete and be recognized by all. You want to have all of those things, play by the rules. Not that fricking complicated.

HB7 is not capable of leading.

Thats right. He can lead the guys to the bar, or to the club, or wherever he needs to go to act up and create some persona.

But as a "leader" of a "football team", he has not shown the character, discipline or judgment to be considered a leader of a team.

Maybe a leader of a group of thugs.

I will until this rule is fixed. Please vote to make weed legal so our great hero's HB7 and Phelps can smoke in peace to relax their bodies after a hard day of training. Thanks!

Oh boo hoo. The idiot university students shouldn't be smoking either. Personally, all scholarship recipients (including TOPS) would get tested weekly. One strike and you lose the scholarship. Two and you're expelled and we throw you to the Metro PD.

If your heroes are Mathieu and Phelps then you're beyond help.

Yes, let's have TM7 come back. LSU really needs more players that have problems following the law on the team.

Or Colin Klein. Or Andrew Luck. Overall it was a stupid comment implying that only players that smoke weed can be a Heisman finalist.

You're still failing to appreciate that the problem is not the rule but that some people can't follow it. Also, it's irrelevant whether weed is legal or not. Adderall is legal (with a prescription) but it's against the rules for a student athlete to take it.
