Yes, Knight had NBA offers. I think I remember him on Letterman saying he preferred the college schedule and fishing to coaching in the NBA.

He was probably smart enough to know pro athletes wouldn't take his shite.

Dale was a great recruiter and motivator.
If you want to convince somebody he was a great BB coach, you're wasting your time.
I would actually enjoy reading that argument and knowing that is the effort of the same author who tried to scold someone for using sarcasm on the Rant.
Good luck, Don Quixote!

This one was the year before. It was a better match up.
It was Georgetown with Alonzo Mounring and Dikembi Mutombo.

Yes, that game was awesome. Dale scheduled some memorable blockbuster regular season matchups.

He was smart not to take the UCLA job. He would always be in Wooden shadow and even though Wooden had retired at the time , the man had cast a long shadow over the program that really did not end until O'Bannon and Co. won the National championship in the mid 90 's

LSU 82 Georgetown 80

I think was the one where there was a big wreck on I-10 between LaPlace and Kenner and it kept a lot of ppl from making to the game.

Fuller Brush, Mary K and all the major door to door vacuum cleaner companies were all over Brown when he was in his prime.

Going to parlay his door to door skills gained while touring the states handing out LSU basketball coin purses and mini basketball.
