The LSU team that lost to Clemson could not beat the A&M team that pounded Oklahoma. Nobody in the country wanted to play the Aggies by the end of the year. I love the fear. I can see it in the irrational posts.

Good teams never lose to teams worse than them. LSU fricking lost to Kentucky and Arkansas in 2007. Are you serious? You guys are the biggest hypocrites of all time.

you're trying too hard. that overcompensation is a typical symptom of underdeveloped coping skills.

That was sarcasm... Good teams lose to worse teams. LSU is pretty good at doing that.

i caught your sarcasm, but you missed my point. your two posts completely contradict each other, and the fact that you threw the word hypocrite around is spectacularly ironic.

The first statement went by y'all's logic. The second one went by mine. The whole point is that it is moronic to say that LSU is better than A&M this year AND in the future because of that ONE game.

I totally agree with you. But it was you who said that better teams can lose but LSU couldn't beat A&M by bowl time.

My point was that LSU would not be confident that they could beat A&M by bowl time, so they shouldn't be hanging on to the early win as evidence of their superiority.

why wouldn't the team be confident in taking the rematch? are you referencing the team or the fans on this board?

The fans. The team should always be confident.

Op is trolling hard.. A&M hasn't been relevant in a very long time.. will take more than one year to jump LSU. A&M will need to win at least one BCS championship game before discussion is warranted.

hope the LSU-A&M rivalry reaches its potential. you ags have a dynamite opportunity to enlarge your brand with JFF and the early success.

I don't think he means #2 overall. But #2, as in predicted to be the 2nd best in the near future.

Fair enough.. A&M should beat LSU first then we can discuss. In the last few years its 2-0 LSU.

LSU won at A@M and at the Cotton Bowl in 2011.

What more advantage to you want to have and still be 0-2 vs. LSU?

Perhaps you should win a game vs. LSU before you start talking chit bout feeling bad for us.

Let's see. eATMe plays third fiddle to the top two teams in their conference even after the best year they have had in many a year and all of the sudden think they are the greatest team in CFB history. Why does this sound familiar?

i am sorry, im looking for the number on national championships that a&m has won since 2001...and i cannot seem to find it. one surprise season by a&m in a new conference does not make them a contender. they are still jackie sherrill's boys.

aTM benefitted from joining the SEC in a down year. Auburn and Arkansas were dumpster fires, and Miss State didn't live up to potential. Old Miss played Aggie hard and nearly won that game. LSU was somewhat overlooking Aggie until the second quarter when they shut it down. Bama did pretty much the exact same thing, but unfortunately were not playing at their normal level this year and let Manziel score one time too many before making the necessary adjustments to stop the offense.

I reserve judgment on Aggie until they have to run the gauntlet for real. My gut says they'll be competitive, but they're still Aggie and will be a middle of the pack team with the occasional good run.
