Did Anyone Hear Brock Huard Discuss His Conversation With Cam Cameron?

When the ESPN announcers were discussing the game prior to kickoff, Huard recalled the conversation he had with Cameron. Huard mentioned the statements Les had made to the media that Harris would see some game time and Cameron responded that it was not going to happen. Huard then said so that tells me that "this is the Anthony Jennings show and LSU will sink or swim with him at the helm" (I'm paraphrasing).

Did anyone else catch that?

I heard it and knew we would lose the game from that moment on.

This would reaffirm Les Miles' bull-headedness and his stupidity when it comes to in-game coaching. Wouldn't surprise me.

Just proves what everyone already knew. LM will lie to get people off his arse.

When was this? We are sinking, but it is not just because of QB play. The play calling is a predictable joke.

Again listening to anything miles says in a presser is a waste of time. What goes on behind closed doors will never be known to any of us. Just the way it is.

I don't know, but Huard was on my flight from Fayetteville to Houston this morning, and in the terminal prior to boarding he saw my hat and said, "That offense. Yeesh." He then proceeded to finish his water and give me an IRL

I was shamed.

Maybe its the QB play that is limiting the play calling?

I don't expect Miles to roll BH under the bus. That doesn't require lying.

He could just say what many coaches would say...."barring injury, AJ will be the guy in the Arky game".

The lie was just being an a-hole.

Not at all. Even our runs are pathetic and predictable. We have done read option plays that have gotten nice yardage in games here and there. We don't do it. We have gotten nice yardage running out of shotgun, yet we barely do it. Fournette has caught really short passes and made big yards, yet we might do it once every 3-4 games. We could do these things with any QB.

Thanks. Missed it. It probably wouldn't have helped me get through the game any easier hearing that. Very strange.

Exactly. LSU football has had a HUGE PR problem since the NC game. Les doesn't have to spill any secrets to the public, but he is being willfully obstinate if hasn't realized the divide between the fanbase and the coaching staff. Les needs to at least acknowledge fan concerns and address them in a more diplomatic way. And he better begin to do it soon if he wants to remain the head coach of LSU.

I think Les believes he can do and say whatever the F he wants. He is only accountable to himself and seems to have this untouchable mentality.

It means that Les is a bald-faced liar seeing as he mentioned that Harris would play.

Do any of you people actually think Les Miles gives one shred of a flying frick what people outside the program think about his decisions? If you all think he sits around thinking about ways to lie to the media and fans just for the frick of it, then you all are delusional.

No, I don't think Les gives a flying frick.

No, I don't think he sits around thinking about ways to lie to the media and fans.

Yes, I do think he lies to the media and fans just for the frick of it.

Its not planned but just done on the fly. He just makes it up as he goes along.
