This has been a problem for him from his first spring game to the 2016 spring game. He just isn't a great passer. He has a cannon but no touch or accuracy. Lindsey Scott looked and looks like the most natural thrower out of every QB on the roster

Not first time we've heard this; just hope he's not needed this year.

Not saying this is the case but sometimes in that drill the QBs are supposed to make the catches tough for the guys going through it.

Watched that video for over three minutes and only saw 3 passes that were high and behind. Everything else was pretty much on target. He even hit lightning-fast Jackson square in the chest.

Definitely not a trend, and I'm not worried.

That's a hard drill for a QB to be in perfect timing with. One after another they come down at different speeds. Some accelerate between catches and some keep their same speed.

Ill be more concerned later if his timing is still off throwing routes

I just finished watching the drill on Dandy Don and was coming here to post the same thing. Sorry to say it guys, but we still don't have a quarterback if he is our best. A stinking gauntlet drill throwing 10 yard passes and he is throwing to hard, to high and some behind. He had more of his balls dropped than the others combined.

Dude, if he can't do it in a gauntlet drill then we are in trouble. I saw 0 improvement. And that is being generous.

Either your delusional or a straight liar. Because he definitely hit more on target than he missed. Even the few he missed were touched their hands... Some of you are really reaching on this one.

is that really the standard - >50% on target?

From 10 yards away?
With no defense?
For a receiver running straight across the middle with no cuts?

Well, I don't think he is Allen iverson...and, just think what will happen when those guys in different colored jerseys start coming at him full speed...

complete and utter nonsense.

If that was the case, why did the coach, who was throwing to the receiver at the beginning, always put the ball between the numbers?

You're trying way too hard to make excuses.

Did that drill when I was in high school. QBs were told to make catches tough. It's not a QB drill.

so the times Harris put the ball on the money were inaccurate throws?

Im trying to hard? But everyone else seems to think by looking at a 20 sec video that we still dont have a qb. This is the most pessimistic board ever..guess they should stop practicing and cancel the season
