Does he bash Alabama's loss to a 3 loss ole miss team who lost to "whatever"? Alabama's body of work does not justify #1 any more than MSU or the other one loss teams. There is no objective way to rank them

The funny thing is that pollyannas (aka, pumpers) always get upset with Herbie/ESPN when we're disrespected in the media, but never seem disappointed in the coaching staff for putting us in the position to be considered an afterthought in the first place.
We handed Alabama that win and their current #1 ranking, which considering our recruiting battle is a disgrace.
The other three losses were straight-up beatdowns. No way around that.

The media is now harping on the fact that the SEC West is not as good as advertised. That's funny, because common sense would tell you that they would eventually beat up on each other and diminish overall records.
