IMO it was a bad angle and he knew it was a bad angle so really he was only looking at his own #92, still bad effort though but looks worse than It may have been.
That’s just what I see though

I think he saw our linebacker and made a good decision not to lay out bc one of the would have gotten hurt on that play. That could have been bad had he not pulled up.

I thought Kary Vincent played his best football at the end of last year. He not only had to play CB on the outside (and did well), he played some S and filled in admirably.

Saturday was the worst game I think I've seen him play. That play wasn't the only time he didn't want to tackle.

I was at the game....and I couldn't believe my eyes what just happened. I have rewatched the gave 3 times now and everytime this play comes on, I am still in disbelief.

So by saying "Business Decision", are you insinuating #5 got paid not to make that play"? That he's on the take?

No you dolt. He made a career saving decision. That business. But I do not think it was that either.

I’m thinking he meant he pulled up to avoid a huge hit & protect his future NFL career by not getting injured.

Then he's going to end up in the draft with a Greedy rep for "Cant tackle," Actually, "won't tackle" might be even worse and cost himself some bucks......but he has the rest of the season to repair the image

I was going for the OP biting on that. Not you. The guys that sit around picking apart every mistake or non-mistake our players made are the "dolts". Just enjoy a great win.

To me he should try to make the tackle there's no way to know he would get hurt or not

It looked to me like there was more of a chance that he thought 92 had him and a collision could've been detrimental. If he was coming from the front of the receiver instead of behind it probably would've gone completely differently.

I’ve watched the game three times after being there in person. I think Kary Vincent played well. In fact, many fans are going to be surprised at how well our defensive backs grade out, if they release that.

The strategy was that Ehlinger can’t beat us from the pocket, so we contained him with our rush. Consequently he had a lot of time. He really does suck at downfield throws of 20 yards or more. Their strategy was to run long developing crossing routes matching their WRs against our LBs. They executed well. Our DBs gave up some big plays, but my goodness, they had to defend a lot of them. They won a lot of battles.

I don't quite know what you mean by business decision. Are you insinuating that he already made the decision to go pro and is now just going through the motions?

I think you're crazy if you think KV is giving anything other than 100%.

If he goes low for a tackle, he ends Neil Farrell's season.

my take on that play is the defense was playing too far off the line. leaving to much of a cushion for a short yardage throw. didn't like the looks of the DB before the snap.
