You are correct. He dropped into coverage a good bit even broke up a pass in the red zone

It was his worst game. Like others said, there were a lot of plays away from him. However, he missed tackles on plays run right at him.

He was in the wrong place a lot and got blown up on a few plays. Didnt look like the same guy. Considering previous play, an off day. Not a player i worry about, he'll have a great game vs bama

I don’t get the LAC hate, he isn’t some freakish athlete but he makes more plays then people give him credit for .

He is good at maintaining his gap and tackling in pursuit. I'd like to see him get more push and penetration against the run though. He has improved his pass rush as the season has progressed. I am worried about him getting pushed back against Bama's run attack. He will need to play with good leverage and keep from getting pushed back into the LBs If LSU wants to slow down the Bama running game.

Ole miss made it a point to get blockers on him, a lot of times our dlineman were single blocked they or tried to get backside ppl to them just so they could get guys on White

This, a few times he was even double teamed. They were hoping Aranda would bring a safety up. Aranda didn’t budge, we had the lead and they were basically helping us run clock. Once LSU got a two two score lead in the second half he brought Grant up and shut that shite down too.

Devin White's quiet game

DW was used in spy type role most of the night. He had a quiet night because he stayed on his assignment. Showed great poise IMO. One of the main reasons Shea was unsuccessful on those quick slants.

Ole Miss knew DW was the best player on the field and schemed to neutralize him with lineman and play calling... Delpit blew up their game though.

I am. He's playing great this year, as he was two years ago. He's a very good DT, and the only reason yo-yos like redtigerrulz bitch about him is because he's white.

Sometimes White has a problem with over pursuing the play.

Beckwith did too.

Freakin' Grant Delpit was beating him to the punch that game anyway.
