As much as we see the game of football try to cater to offensive scoring, isn't it a lot more exciting to see a hard fought defensive game. It really brings out the true character of the team.

True freshmen Adams and Godchaux making noise. I'm seriously impressed with Godchaux.. he doesn't look like those fat defensive linemen.. he's fricking muscular lean.

Defense is back.

Totally agree. If you're stuck in Texas you have to watch this TCU/Baylor shite that is a beautiful game until you see their defenses.

That was a typical ole style Tiger D last night especially stuffing Ole Piss on 4th down. Beautiful.

I'm pretty sure I remember a game where LSU made only 2 first downs the entire game but won 14=0 lol.

Absolutely. I was on the edge of my seat all night, down to the last play. I love it!

Running 3 times and punting is but a fan joy killer. No one is advocating that, I don't think...

but running the ball for 246 yards against a great Defensive is a lot of fun, joy etc..in victory of course

I haven't seen LSU fans rush the field in over a decade.

That win had some pint up emotion behind it.

For me, I saw an inspired team that outplayed Ole Miss but couldn't get a break or out of it's way for the entire game... The game really should have been more like 24-0. We intercept Bo in the first qtr (how did he drop that ball?), they never sniff points..

I wanted this one for Coach Miles..
