He let the entire situation become a clusterfrick and didn't have a definite answer from the replacement (sound familiar?), which then resulted in him being overruled by a political decision.

There will be no search. Alleva was here a few weeks then hired Trent Johnson. Besides that, he hasn't hired anyone served up on a silver platter. We will end up hiring Stansbury or a meatloaf.
Alleva should already have targeted a coach and put pieces in place to bring them in. But I doubt Ponamski has had a chance to put a binder together for him yet.
