Im not sure about you guys, but I havent really heard anything about Lewis Neal. He had a sprained ankle I believe during the spring game and we couldnt see what the praise was about from coaches/playera during spring practice. Ive been busy with work and school and I wanted to know if you guys had heard any news?

Les Miles said if he was healthy for spring game, he would have been starting over Bain. He and Bower are the first team DEs.

Ed O loves him and says he can be a Trent Cole type of player. A little on the short side, but makes up for it in other areas.

He's extremely strong, explosive, and relentless. I think he explodes into the scene and has a big year for us and leads the team in sacks and TFL. Gonna be very disruptive.

He's coming for you.

I had no idea he was that ripped. Reminds me of Hunter but it sounds like he's fast, like Montgomery was.

I like.

You do realize that Hunter was faster than Monty was... Right?

Nobody really mentions Neal but I think he plays a big role this season. Maybe even leads in sacks or top 3

I know this might sound funny, but I believe his height doesnt really matter. Imo, he could use that "disadvantage" as leverage combined with his strength and speed. He could be one of those slippery DEs that are hard to get a hold of AND also be that dominating one knocks tackles on their asses

I get what you're saying... He's strong as an ox and will naturally have the leverage advantage over OL. I mean he played DT last season at 250lbs for us, that tells you how strong this kid is.

I feel like people are sleeping on Lewis Neal, Gilmore, and Bower

Lacouture as well, he has 2 years of full time experience for us. Kid could be explosive this season in the middle...

Sione Teuhema may be the quickest off the line on the team.

sione was an OLB in high school so I think Ed O will use his versatility very well. I think he'll be a key back up/contributor.

Clark and Herron should also be 2 guys that can plug and play anywhere on the line, will also be good for rotation contributions.
