6. Eric Reid

5. LaRon Landry

4. Mo Claiborne

That's the change I'd have made. I know Mo didn't turn out to be the second coming of PP7 in the League, but the guy was a straight up beast in the secondary at LSU.

A guy with his name and face on a plaque outside of the stadium, should have been at least ranked top 4, as the other two faces on plaques (TM7, PP7) were.

To this point if they're going to put Ron Brooks above Jalen Collins he should also be above Jalen Mills. Based on pro time he's been around longer and have to wonder how Jalen Mills was determined to have done more in the league than both.

An argument could be made that he is top 3.

Capped his career by starting 48 straight games for the Tigers ... Finished career by playing in 52 games, starting 48 times ... Credited with 315 career tackles, 12 interceptions and eight sacks ... Webster was an AA and lasted in the NFL much longer than Landry did.

Landry was a 2 time All-American and a freshman all american. He led the 2003 defense in tackles as a true freshman.
Joins Shawn Burks (1983-85) as the only players in school history to lead the Tigers in tackles three times during their career.

The list was made about how well each player has fared in the NFL only, not taking college accolades into account. Otherwise Chad Jones would be higher than last.

Then landry should be higher than webster. Landry made a probowl. Webster didnt.

Landry 07-2014
617 tackles
10 forced fumbles
6 ints
8 sacks
41 pdf

Webster 05-2014

Agreed on the stat point, but at the same time it could be argued that Webster was on a D that had more success, including winning a SB with a large contribution from their defense throughout the playoffs. Tbh I didn't read the op's link so idk what their criteria was

Songy was talking about our DBs on his show yesterday and I found it odd that he was mentioning 17 DBs but was also surprised he had prepared a list. Evidently he was just reading it from the website and I'm not sure if he even gave them any credit
