There will be a Tailgate hosted by the LSU Houston Alumni Association.

What does it mean by "Better Than Ezra Foundation?" Will the band Better Than Ezra be performing at this event?

1.) Morning sex with wife since we won't have the kids barging in to worry about (this should help ease gameday nerves )
2.) It's a late game, maybe go back to sleep
3.) Figure out which two tickets I'll use, since I bought 4
4.) Burn some time in the city
5.) Bus with Alumni Association to game
6.) Air conditioned tailgate because I seem to forget about costs when it comes to football
7.) Watch the beatdown

Not sure, but they are performing at the House of Blues in Downtown Houston the night before the game.

I'm starting to have similar thoughts about Metro. I'd appreciate comments from other locals who actually use it to attend the Rodeo or a Texans game.

I've taken the Light Rail several times to the Rodeo and for a Texans-Saints game and have never had issues with capacity or anything like that. It's usually a little bit of a wait getting on afterwards, but other than that it's been fine. It's definitely what I'll be taking.

House is close to Rice University and we're setting up a tailgate there so we can start in the morning like usual. We'll have other games on TV, A/C, food, etc inside and yard games music, kegs outside. Having a bus pick up the tailgate group and drop us off at NRG a couple hours before gametime. After last year in Dallas I wanted to do something with some shade at least.

Are they really going to stick with the 4 hours before kickoff rule? They said that in Dallas as well, but we still parked around 9 or 10am.

Like most staying DT, will bar hop there and in mid-town. Most importantly, as early as possible in the AM, will be traveling to Specs' mecca DT to load up.

I have a flight that morning from Indianapolis. If there are delays, you'll be seeing footage of my meltdown on CNN.
