How do we get O and Aranda to switch places?

I find it amazing he gets these results while seemingly never raising his voice to his players. I'm pretty sure it was Jamal Adams last year who said Dave Aranda was the only D.C. He ever had who never yelled at him.

Head coach in waiting.

I like O, and he is killing it. This guy is next… hopefully after a lengthy term for O.

I don't think we'd be able to hold on to Aranda, if Orgeron were to have a "lengthy term."

Aranda is one of my models as a coach. I talk loud at practice so everybody can hear me, but I never get on my players. Aranda is a fricking stud, and is an example of how to be not only a coach, but a parent as well.

Good human being, and a Jedi.

Lock him up? LSU is paying him 1.8 million a year. He will make 2 million next year. That's more than any other college DC and puts him about 10th among NFL DCs. If he wants to advance his career there's nothing else LSU can do.

If I win the Powerball I'll buy an NFL team and hire Orgeron and Alleva (if I leave Alleva in Baton Rouge he won't hire Aranda).

Incredible.

I've thought about this, and O has done such a miraculous job with LSU that I think his work is done here. LSU will be on cruise control for years without him.

O wants to redeem himself in the eyes of the OM fans and I think we should be respectful of that and let him do so, and replace him with Aranda. Not fair of us to let that blemish on his record continue to be so without affording him an opportunity to correct it.

He gets those results without yelling because he's so well respected by the players and they trust his judgment.
