Exactly what I was thinking. This isn't a video game people. Playing LB in college and high school are 2 different things, especially when you haven't played that position in a couple of years.

Wasn't Mark Roman at RB in HS and turned into a great safety at LSU? It's not unheard of for RBs to move to defense.

Jack Hunt WR to S
Marcus Spears TE to DE
Corey Webster WR to CB
Quinn Johnson LB to FB
Will Blackwell DL to OL
Lyle Hitt DL to OL
RJ Jackson RB to WR
Kellen Theriot LB to FB
JC Copeland DL to FB
Chris Davenpot DL to OL
Elliot Porter DL to OL

You missed the most successful transition in LSU history: Eric Martin moved from RB to WR.

La'el Collins should also explore his options at wide receiver!

Charles Scott was one of the best HS linebackers I've ever seen play in person. I always thought he missed playing college at his best position, despite the fact that he was a great RB also

I've likewise thought that Stevan Ridley could've been an NFL All-Pro at LB. He was and is a very talented RB, but he was even better at LB, which was why he had offers from other SEC schools at LB or FB, but not at RB.

When Ridley committed to LSU, we thought that he would eventually switch to defense.

Where do you people come from?

Oh my, what do you mean?

People with questions and ideas, during the off season?

It may be beneficial to your mental well being to find a hobby and not visit online forums between now and kickoff 2016 if you are going to be concerned over questions like this.

What is it with you people? Every time a player isn't starting, you crank out these transfer threads. Here's a hint for you: LSU football players are made of stronger stuff than you delicate little flowers. If the LSU coaching staff (who believe it or not know way more about football in general and these players in person that you ever will) believe that his best position is on the offensive side of the ball, go with it. Sit back. Have a beer. Enjoy life.

I bet you would have ridiculed someone asking if Josh Reed should consider a move to WR from RB as well? Good thing you were not asked for your opinion on that one.

Players do change positions and it is a legit question for DW given our depth at RB and at LB.

Brossette didn't look good at all

Next to LF7 and Guice, but for a normal Freshman back he was fine.

12 carries for 65 yards aint bad.
