If he was smart he would move to LB. His high school highlights have some excellent plays at LB. I rememeber he was originally recruited as a LB but insisted to be a RB. If he doesn't transfer he should explore his options at LB.

So the coaches recruiting him for that position out of high school were crazy too right?

He looks too stiff to me to play LB.

I think the upvotes are just people accepting how retarded some of these posters are.

Watching both Ducre and Williams in high school, I can tell you Williams was made to play Mike backer and Ducre is a pure running back. Ducre needs to get more aggressive to see FB or LB time. All this is wont matter it White plays LB.

Why are people saying williams is leaving? Just by his posture and facial expressions in bowl game or are you really hearing chatter?

Selfish? Wtf...
You're being selfish because all you care about is your team winning.

It's his college career, I promise you Ole Miss will let him play rb.

I think thats an awesome idea. I think he would have a good shot at playing more considering LSU's LB situation.

What is it with you people? Every time a player isn't starting, you crank out these transfer threads. Here's a hint for you: LSU football players are made of stronger stuff than you delicate little flowers.

If the LSU coaching staff (who believe it or not know way more about football in general and these players in person that you ever will) believe that his best position is on the offensive side of the ball, go with it.

Sit back.
Have a beer.
Enjoy life.

I don't know why a player that can play both positions would choose RB over LB in today's game.

Plenty more starting LB jobs in the NFL than they are RB jobs and it pays more as well

It's a nice thought but we need his depth at RB

LF
Guice
DW

Nothing else. Brossette didn't look good at all

Charles Scott was one of the best HS linebackers I've ever seen play in person. I always thought he missed playing college at his best position, despite the fact that he was a great RB also. A lot of the modern 230ish lb RB's could probably be trained to play LB, especially with the speed needed to play the position in modern defensive schemes.

This is real football. This isn't madden or NCAA 2013 where you can just switch positions at the end of the season and dominate when you start the next season.

Middle linebacker is like playing quarterback on d. You have to know where everybody is going and doing to be successful.
