I remember after that game I got to meet Darrel, he dated a girl who lived across the street from me with her Aunt/Uncle, and I let him know how much I appreciated that play. Lol.

If you entered LSU fall of 2003 and went for a half super senior year in 2007 that was probably the GOAT time to be at LSU.
Awesome football teams, basketball makes a final four, the women's Drive for Five was pretty legit.
And then the baseball team made the CWS in 2004 if you're into that boring stuff.

So true, he never really gets mentioned but he was a great college bball player. I know he went overseas to play ball after school, wonder how that worked. I ended up losing contact once I lost contact with that chick he was with.
