any shot? Is he truly retired?

Probably hard to take another SEC job after they just named the field for him at Ben Hill Griffin stadium, but just imagine what he could do with the talent we can get.

We need to start the bitch about Miles board and the stupid potential head coach candidates board since this board is done for this football season.

I'd love to see him consult on the search for the next coach... but that's about it.

If the man is tired and doesn't have the fire anymore, let him be. That might be part of our current issue.

Is this just bullshitting around or are you serious.. Like the dude who called into Paul Finebaum today and said Urban Meyer will be LSU's next HC.

I actually thought he was early 60s, but he's 71. Too old, but he looks damn good for his age.

People shouldn't be so quick to dismiss Spurrier as a great coach. South Carolina is a very hard place to coach, and he brought them to the SEC championship game. He didn't turn into a shitty coach there.

If he were 7-10 years younger, I'd have him on my short list. Given the recruits that we get every year, and his ability to run a wide open offense, I think he would've been very successful here.
