He’ll be more of a 3-4 round pick

Ridley ran with some mauler offensive lines when he was at LSU. D Williams is every bit as talented as Ridley, just hasn’t had the same level of blocking . He could probably even stand to get a little leaner. 215-220 range and i bet he runs a 4.68 or something in that ball park .

DW has a low of 4.52 and a high of 4.7 for his 40

Has not gone up AT ALL this year. He's the same back he was last year. The difference in his production is that he's behind Guice instead of Guice and Fournette.

Next year you'll be saying Brosette's draft stock went up.

has not gone up at all?

getting PT at LSU is helpful and undoubtedly enhanced his draft stock

if Brosette gets PT and performs well his will be bumped too. Dude, LSU players (RB) usually do get drafted

For some perspective, 26 RBs were taken in the NFL draft this year. Only 19 the year before. 19 the year before that. Walter Camp has a list of 27 prospective 2018 RBs—DWill is not listed. We all want Darrell to get drafted, but it’s certainly no guarantee. And 3rd/4th round is almost impossible.

What? He's more like Kenny Hilliard than any other recent LSU back that I can think of.

That's a poor comparison. Hilliard was big but ran upright...no wiggle.

DW has never come close to running a 4.52. If so, it was hand-timed by his dad. He is a slow running back with decent (not good) power, decent vision and decent moves. If he makes a roster he'll just provide depth for a couple of years. He's the worst second string back at LSU since the 90's.

Disagree there .

He doesn’t have break away speed but always gets 4-5 yards it seems . That’s behind a very average offensive line.

I feel like he will have a better pro career than college. He also won’t be worn down and has never had injury problems .

Had you said that in September, and not this, I would have agreed with you and not given you any shite:

"and williams will not make an active NFL roster"

and "people laugh at me for calling him an NFL back"

Now all of a sudden you think he is draftable

He bears a striking resemblance to Rob Kelley in my opinion. Big bodied RB who has some versatility and wasn't highly regarded in college.
