With his quick release, calmness in the pocket and his mobility, he reminds me most of Matt Flynn. Maybe he will be lucky like Flynn and CFB will have one of those crazy seasons like 2007 and give is a chance to get into the playoffs even with two losses. Running the table from here on out seems like a bit of a stretch.

Danny Etling vs Mississippi State

All LSU has needed is a game-manager at QB, just a guy who will make quick decisions, throw accurate passes.

Russell, Flynn, Mettenberger and Etling were coached by others before starting for Miles at LSU. Maybe Les should stop burning scholarships on recruits and just take transfers.

It was always Jimbo seeing as Saban and Miles aren't QB coaches.

We're in good shape with etling and Myles Brennan committed. These are kids who line up perfectly with what Lsu does. Matt Flynn style is the type of qb we should be revruiting every year if possible. Smart, accurate, poised and just mobile enough.

The way he buys time, moves about the pocket and scrambles reminds me of Flynn. Needs to get less arc on those screens. Needs to be harder and more upfield. Idk if it's a Dameyune thing, but our wr's hand placement on passes approaching their chest is horrible. It's like they're unsure on technique. The jump ball dropped at the goal line by Chark looked an awful lot like he was doing his "best Malachi". Danny doesn't panic. He's savvy. He's what we need.

This looks like a completely different offense with Etling. He is so much more than just a game manager or merely serviceable. The kid reeks of a top notch QB. We've just forgotten what that looks like.

Barring injury or assured victory, there is absolutely no reason to see anyone else under center.

I'm just amazed you was able to put together an 11 minute highlight real of an LSU qb 8 minutes was just the first half

There's room for the both of us eh?? Lol. BTW I've been a fan of your youtube page a while now, just the amt of lsu content on YouTube or lack thereof of was discouraging so I decided to join in.
